Brooklyn residents enjoying the Before I Die project.
In front of the future Shake Shack, in downtown Brooklyn, owners have put up a chalkboard for the people to use and enjoy as a public bucket list.

BROOKLYN, NY (Catholic Online) - The blackboard is entitled, "Before I Die" and anyone is welcome to take up a piece of colored chalk and write their public hopes on the board before moving on.

So far, the messages range across the entire spectrum of hopes and dreams with lines such as, "get an A in math" to "Kiss Chris Brown."

The Before I Die project is a toolkit made available by Candy Chang, an artist who created the first blackboard in New Orleans. Her project is growing with sites around the US and even overseas.

Folks interested in making their mark are encouraged to hurry, construction of the Shake Shack and the project ends in November.
