Nonresidents may soon get more of these if they don't pay attention to where they park.
Brooklyn residents may finally be able to park where they live. State and city legislators are studying a plan to establish residential parking permits throughout New York.

BROOKLYN, NY (Catholic Online) - parking in New York has always been a challenge, but residents have been upset that they oftentimes cannot even park near their homes.

This latest move to implement residential parking has come after Brooklyn residents noted that sporting events at the soon to be finished Barclays Center in Prospect Heights would take up virtually all of the parking in the area forcing residents to park far away from their homes.

If the plan is implemented, it will go into effect across New York and many of the outlying neighborhoods, including Brooklyn.
