A nonprofit educational program is providing Brooklyn teens with better educational opportunities through after school and summer programs.

BROOKLYN, NY (Catholic Online) - The program, Breakthrough New York, will start operating at the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene next June. It will be the second location for the program in the city.

The program provides extra, college prep learning opportunities for advanced students in jr. high and high school.

Proponents and graduates credit the program with creating better opportunities for students and improving their grades overall.
