Wanting to rock out? There is a new indoor playground to go check out, for both parents and their children.
The rock and roll themed playground Frolic opened up in Williamsburg earlier this month.
The facility, being 5,000 square feet, features a Rolling Stones inspired slide, an interactive wall installation, a mini state for concerts, and a classical Volkswagen bus. Frolic also offers classes in various subjects including music, dance, and art.
Although Frolic is meant for children ages six and under, its founders say the facility was heavily influenced by the music their parents grew up with, thus warmly inviting parents as well.
Co-founder Julia Dawson explained, "We just wanted to bring a little bit of rock and roll to Williamsburg and bridge the old lifestyle so it's a good time."
"We wanted to really bridge our old lifestyles with our new lifestyles of having kids, having fun and having a place to hang out and bond as families and bring the community together," said Co-founder Carey Balogh.
